    Vice President of Corporate Services

    Sondra leads the growth and enrichment of our outstanding team. Since joining us in 2005, she has been our brilliant workplace architect, building a supportive environment where our people can develop, advance, and thrive.

    Sondra’s expertise spans human resource management, benefits administration, organizational development, information technology, process improvement, facilities management, and regulatory compliance. Before joining Access Sciences, Sondra spent 11 years at Accenture, primarily working on complex, large-scale change management projects for the energy sector.
     
    Sondra earned her B.A. in Communications from the University of Arizona, an M.Ed. from the University of Houston, and she holds key professional HR certifications. She supports a wide variety of community organizations focused on animal welfare, education, and social services.

    Char Pitts is a results-driven Talent Acquisition Manager with more than 20 years of experience building diverse, high-performing teams across the Energy, Manufacturing, Medical, and Information Technology sectors. She is dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive candidate experience while fostering strong partnerships with hiring teams.

    Char began her Human Resources career with a consulting firm, gaining a broad foundation in benefits administration, payroll, onboarding, account management, and recruiting. She later transitioned into the staffing industry, where she held multiple leadership roles and developed expertise in talent sourcing, coaching teams, and optimizing Applicant Tracking Systems.

    Her background spans construction, hospitality, and telecommunications, where she has led initiatives in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and HRIS optimization. Recognized for her approachable leadership style and ability to build trust, Veronica is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

    Veronica holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, along with an Employment Law Certification from Cornell University. She earned her BBA in Marketing from the University of Houston.

    Grace Gilliland

    HR and Office Administrator

    Grace Gilliland serves as the HR & Office Administrator for Access Sciences’ Corporate Headquarters in Houston. She began her career with the company and has spent the past two years supporting both HR functions and office operations.
    Grace studied Human Resources at Louisiana State University and is an active member of HR Houston. She looks forward to becoming an employee-owner in 2026 and continuing to grow her career in Human Resources.
