Where We Started

Access Sciences was founded in 1985 by Janice C. Anderson, an accomplished library and information scientist. Every day in her work, she saw major companies struggling to organize, manage, and use their fast-growing, increasingly complex collections of records, documents, media, and other information assets. So she created our company – and a better way for our clients.

Where We’re Headed

Today, we help clients in government and industry transform their information into a high-functioning asset that empowers their people and drives their objectives. And tomorrow, we’ll be pursuing ways to serve them even better. We are committed to being the thought leaders in our industry and the vanguard for progressive ideas, new technologies, and future advancements to help you succeed.

We’re honored to be among the leading companies in our founding city and to have earned the same yearly recognition in Baton Rouge since we opened our office in 2024. We believe this achievement is the natural result of our team’s dedication. As an employee-owned company, we strive every day to live and work according to our core values. When we do this, our workplaces, client relationships, and communities all become much better.
